The Harp is a narrow pub a short walk away from Trafalgar Square, London. Despite its name, the pub has no Irish connection and until 1995 was called the Welsh Harp. Due to its location, and the fact that it serves around 8 ales, the pub is usually very busy.

Taco Mac is a chain of American sports bars that serve Buffalo wings and lots and lots of different beers. On tap when I visited were 93 different beers and almost three times that amount of beers in bottles in the fridge! Whilst that seems a lot, some of the bars in the chain have 140 beers on tap and 300 bottles.

The Princess Louise was built in 1872 and is named after a daughter of Queen Victoria. The pub was remodelled in 1890 – 1892 in a style that you see today, although until recently, the interior of the pub had changed. Samuel Smith, well known for it’s pub interiors, refurbished the pub in 2007 to how it looked in 1892 and is now one of the most complete and finest Victorian pubs in London.
