What You Can Expect From Travels with Beer

First of all, I love beer and I love travelling and I love travelling places to drink beer.

I tend to travel around the UK most weekends visiting new cities, new pubs, new beer festivals all the while tasting beers. Until now I have been keeping those interested updated on Twitter and posting photos to Beer Lens, a site I run with a friend in Rochester, NY.

A normal trip may take in a dozen pubs or more, perhaps a brewery and most certainly plenty of new beers. It’s difficult to post all the details of a trip to Twitter and I only post certain photos to Beer Lens. Travel with Beers will be a new place where I can record my beer trips in more detail.

You can expect photos of the pubs I visit, reviews of beers I try along the way and a look inside any breweries I visit. I will also be reviewing past trips and posting about the pubs and breweries that I have already visited.

Feedback is encouraged and over time I hope that the site will grow and maybe recruit other beer travellers to guest post.

Beer Taster, Pub Attendee, Photo Taker

Robert Gale likes beer, pubs and beer festivals. He also likes to take photos of beer, pubs and beer festivals. Most weekends of the year you can find him travelling around the UK (and sometimes beyond) photographing and reviewing good quality pubs and beer festivals. He also has a day job in the form of a web developer for Ozum.

Good luck Rob – about time you jotted down your travels – you need to do a map as well plotting your pubs/brewerys visited
