The Eagle, London

I stumbled (not literally) across the Eagle whilst making my way back to Paddington Station. I took a peek inside the pub as I walked by and noticed that they were serving Adnam’s American-style IPA, one of their regular experimental beers.

I couldn’t resist stepping in to try Adnam’s latest and was surprised by the amount of beers they served.

The pub had a wide range of beers including 5 different ales, Sierra Nevada, Hoegaarden, Aspall cider, Fruili and Mort Subite fruit beers and premium lagers such as Peroni, Tiger, Heineken, Staropramen and Amstel.

As you can see from the photo, they also sold lobster flavoured crisps although I couldn’t they didn’t taste of it.

The pub was very popular seemed to be doing a good trade with food.

The Eagle has definitely made my favourite list of London pubs and with the excellent Wenlock Arms just around the corner it’s well worth a visit.
