The Interior
The interior is a mixture of exposed brick, white walls and cafe-style table and chairs. Towards the rear are some comfortable Chesterfield seats.
I visited on a Saturday afternoon and was fairly busy. Many of the tables were booked for the evening so if you were to visit late it may be standing room only. And being just a small place, there is a just a single toilet at the rear.
Food and Drink
As you’d expect in a Czech-themed bar, the main beers on sale are of Bohemian origin. On tap when I visited was Budvar Blond, Budvar Dark and Staropramen. Prior to visiting I had read that they stock a wide range of bottled Czech beers including some that I hadn’t heard of. The barman said that due to missed delivery, the range wasn’t as big as usual. Still, I got to sample a really good Bohemia Regent dark. Also available are a large variety of cocktails.
Prague has a mix of snacks to accompany your drinks and range from the very British pork scratchings and crisps to the more obscure rollmops, the surprisingly nice pickled sausage and marinated cheese (I’m not sure what it is marinated in).
