The weekend of July 16th-18th saw the Otley Golden Ale Beer Festival take place at the Bunch of Grapes in Pontypridd. The festival featured over 20 golden ales from a variety of breweries around the UK.

The main bar was home to five Otley beers and the temporary bar at the rear of the pub was big enough for 14 different beers on handpull. At the First All Otley Beer Festival, the temporary bar was one that the brewery used at other beer festivals and trade shows but the one used for this festival has been newly built and looks more permanent although it can still be pushed up against the wall when not in use.

Like the All Otley Beer Festival, this festival was very popular and the all guest ales sold out by the Saturday. Luckily I arrived at 12pm on the Saturday so got to try the majority of beers available.
