The Rake, London

The Interior
Being one of the smallest pubs in London (it may actually be the smallest pub in London) there’s not much to talk about in terms of the interior.
The bar and seating is contained within a very small room. There are around 3 or 4 round tables with stools and some space for standing. One wall is adorned with messages and signatures from the many breweries that have visited the Rake over the years.
The pub does have a beer garden which, based on the size of the pub, effectively doubles the size of the pub!
The Beer
The beer in the Rake changes almost on a daily basis and you will always find an eclectic mixes of beers available covering a wide range of styles. (Follow @rabidbarfly on Twitter for the latest beers available)
If none of the many keg or cask beers available on tap take your fancy, you can always work your way through the huge number of beers they have available in the fridges behind the bar.
If you do visit the Rake, make sure you have plenty of money as you will be tempted to try so many different beers.
Should You Visit?
Yes!
If you love beer and you are in London, you just have to visit The Rake. They sell so many beers, both in bottle and in keg/cask that are not easily available.
And if you want to take beer home with you, make sure you visit when Borough Market is open so that you can visit their sister company, Utobeer, which sells a wide range of beer from around the world.
