The Vagabond, Whitehaven, Cumbria
Posted on 18. Jul, 2012 by Robert Gale in Pubs

The Interior
Split over two floors the traditional pub has bare boards throughout along with a large amount of American memorabilia adorning the walls. Downstairs to the rear is a bar decorated with old hops along with plenty of seating.
Upstairs is an area more suited to dining and based on a visit on a Saturday lunchtime, the pub does seem popular with people seeking good and affordable food.
The Beer
Beer is limited at the Vagabond but is kept in good condition. As the chalkboard in the pub says, “Loweswater Gold is always on. Jennings Bitter is usually on and Langdale is sometimes on.”
