First of all, I love beer and I love trav­el­ling and I love trav­el­ling places to drink beer.

I tend to travel around the UK most week­ends vis­it­ing new cities, new pubs, new beer fes­ti­vals all the while tast­ing beers. Until now I have been keep­ing those inter­ested updated on Twit­ter and post­ing pho­tos to Beer Lens, a site I run with a friend in Rochester, NY.

A nor­mal trip may take in a dozen pubs or more, per­haps a brew­ery and most cer­tainly plenty of new beers. It’s dif­fi­cult to post all the details of a trip to Twit­ter and I only post cer­tain pho­tos to Beer Lens. Travel with Beers will be a new place where I can record my beer trips in more detail.

You can expect pho­tos of the pubs I visit, reviews of beers I try along the way and a look inside any brew­eries I visit. I will also be review­ing past trips and post­ing about the pubs and brew­eries that I have already visited.

Feed­back is encour­aged and over time I hope that the site will grow and maybe recruit other beer trav­ellers to guest post.
