The Boar’s Head Beer Festival, 2010

The Boar’s Head is a freehouse located a short walk from Pontyclun railway station. It won Mid-Glamorgan CAMRA pub of the year in 2009 and is featured in the Good Beer Guide.

The beer festival was held on September 3rd and 4th, 2010.

The 11th Annual Worcester Beer Festival took place at Worcester racecourse on the weekend of August 12th-14th, 2010.

Approximately 11,000 ale, cider and perry fans passed through the gates on during the 3 day event with 5,500 visiting on the rainy Friday.

Otley Golden Ale Festival

The Otley Golden Ale Beer Festival featured over 20 golden ales from a variety of breweries around the UK including Thornbridge, Saltaire, Otter, Dark Star and Crouch Vale.

As with other Otley beer festivals, the Golden Ale festival proved to be very popular and all guest ales were sold out by the second day.

18th Annual Maltings Beer Festival, Newton Abbot

The Maltings Beer Festival is now in its 18th year and is organised by the South West branch of SIBA (Society of Independent Brewers). It is held at Tuckers Maltings in Newton Abbot on the south coast of England and for two weeks, a working malting floor is closed so that one of the biggest beer festivals in the UK can take place.
